From September 8 to 11, 2025, the Society for Analytic Philosophy (GAP) will host its twelfth international congress (GAP.12) at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. The theme of the congress is “Pathways to Truth”.
At GAP.12, there will be sections with peer-reviewed papers as usual, providing a comprehensive forum for all areas of analytic philosophy. The submission period will begin in autumn 2024 and end in early 2025. Submissions will be made through the ConfTool online system, and we will use the Conference4me mobile app for the navigation through GAP.12. We look forward to welcoming you in Düsseldorf!

Preliminary Programme
About the painting “Hauptweg und Nebenwege”
The designs for GAP.12 feature the painting “Hauptweg und Nebenwege” (“Main Path and Side Paths”) by Swiss-born German artist Paul Klee. He created the painting in 1929. Klee taught at the Bauhaus in Dessau (1921–31) and was professor at Düsseldorf’s Art Academy (1931–33) till the Nazis fired him from his job and the Klee family emigrated to Switzerland.
More information on the painting can be found here; for more information on Paul Klee have a look here. The poster for GAP.12 is available here.
